We provide manpower, resources, and education to people in the communities directly effect by disasters to help them care for animals in need. Building a strong bond between animals and humans one paw at a time.

Frank’s Way Foundation is a charitable animal rescue organization helping animals in need. When Hurricane Harvey hit Texas in August of 2017, Frank’s Way Foundation founder David Scherff knew he needed to do what others couldn’t. He and a group of friends banded together to go in and help when everyone else needed to evacuate. David and
Frank’s Way Foundation is a charitable animal rescue organization helping animals in need. When Hurricane Harvey hit Texas in August of 2017, Frank’s Way Foundation founder David Scherff knew he needed to do what others couldn’t. He and a group of friends banded together to go in and help when everyone else needed to evacuate. David and his beloved bulldog Frank began rescuing families from the floods in Katy TX. Unfortunately, during one of the rescues, Frank was thrown overboard and was lost in the floods.
The heroic acts of ordinary people in the face of that event led David to begin Frank’s Way Foundation, focusing on disaster relief and recovery for the animals affected by natural disasters nationwide and the education of the people who people who care about them.

Meet David, founder and pack leader of Frank's Way Foundation. David volunteers his time with the foundation as an "all paws on the ground" leader. Arriving before an impending storm, he dedicates his time to assisting animal owners with plans on how to prepare for a storm with their animals and assisting them with evacuation plans. Alo
Meet David, founder and pack leader of Frank's Way Foundation. David volunteers his time with the foundation as an "all paws on the ground" leader. Arriving before an impending storm, he dedicates his time to assisting animal owners with plans on how to prepare for a storm with their animals and assisting them with evacuation plans. Along with the other volunteers he works proactively to decrease the number of animals that are left behind and lost during a storm. Often times during the storm David will volunteer his time with first responders in the projected path of the storm responding to calls of critical need. Using his years of experience David provides valuable search and rescue efforts after the storm for those that have been misplaced.

Meet Dominick, senior volunteer for Frank's Way Foundation. Dominick volunteers his time as an "all paws on the ground" member. Working alongside David he provides field support with preparation, evacuation, and search and rescue efforts. As a senior volunteer Dominick has traveled several miles and has spent countless hours "helping one paw at a time."

Meet Tim, Brand Ambassador for Frank's Way Foundation. Tim volunteers his time behind the scenes, but with all four paws on the ground in the public spreading the word about Frank's Way Foundation. He provides the Foundation with valuable input on ideas with fundraising and public awareness. He also works to develop relationships between public citizens and the board members of Frank's Way.

Meet Lisa, Community Outreach Manager for Frank's Way Foundation. When she is not busy attending educational events for animal lovers, or working in the field, Lisa can be found at home caring for her furry pack and the occasional foster she takes in until they find their furever home!

Meet Brian's boy Dodge, Brian is the Senior editor and videographer for Frank's Way Foundation. Brain volunteers his time as a "digital pack member" providing video editing and voiceovers for the Frank's Way Foundation You-Tube channel. His years of acting and directing provide an educational insight into the services provided by the foundation.
